Community Time-Here is the MARCH 8th VIDEO for you to show to your class. A BIG SHOUTOUT to Kayla Goss for all of your help! She will be putting these together for us the remainder of this year. Grade Level Meetings-We will meet on Tuesday to continue our learning around Jan Richardson. Friday-Students will be dismissed at 12:30 on Friday. Please wait for Carrie to give the all call to ensure all buses have arrived. You have the afternoon to work on report cards. Monday Meeting-Action Teams will meet at 3:30 on Monday. Meet Mrs. Foraker-Don't forget to jump on Google Meet Monday at 4:00 to meet Mrs. Foraker. (WSFaculty) AMI Attendance-We received some clarification from Central Office regarding attendance for AMI days. We will be able to count ALL students present if they complete any of their assignments by this Friday. That is GREAT news!! Please make sure that you update your attendance sheet by the end of the day on Friday. NWEA Testing-Laurissa sent out an email about setting up your rosters for testing. Please make sure that you take some time to get that completed in the next few weeks. I will update you on the new testing dates as soon as they are available. Wednesday-I will be out of the building from 9:00-? on Wednesday. We have a LEAD team meeting at Central Office. Staff Shout-Outs-This is the last week to nominate a co-worker for a HABIT SHOUT OUT! HERE IS THE LINK! WOW-Help us celebrate NATIONAL TORTILLA CHIP DAY with a nacho bar in the workroom this Wednesday! It is also time to spoil your secret pal with a special gift. :) Sonic Drinks-Submit your SONIC DRINK ORDER HERE by noon on Wednesday and your drink will be delivered to you on Friday!! ***NO Community Time video this week due to our snow days! ****Please drop off your baby or grade school picture to the office this week!!****

Tuesday Grade Level Meeting-We will meet during your plan time in the designated classrooms. We will be reviewing emergent readers and watching a Jan Richardson video of a lesson.
PAY DAY-Wednesday is PAY DAY!!! :) Thursday-I will be gone all day on Thursday to my Grandpa´s funeral. Community Time-I will be finalizing our first COMMUNITY TIME video on Friday. I will upload it to the COMMUNITY TIME VIDEO folder before Monday, January 25th so you can share it with your class. The goal is to have a new one each week for you to share with our class on Monday mornings. It will also be posted on Facebook for parents to view. PDP/4DX-I know everyone has been working on their second semester Professional Development Plans. Please hold on to both first and second semester PDPs and I will show you how to upload these to TalentEd at the end of the year. Monday Meeting-We will meet in the library after school from 3:25-3:35. You will need to bring something to write with for a quick activity around the DREAM card you created in August. Action Teams will meet following our group activity.
Tuesday Grade Level Meetings-We will meet in the designated classrooms during your grade level plan time. Our Achieve Goals and Empower Learners Action Team members will be leading our grade levels on PDP/goal setting for 2nd semester. We will also be filling out positive postcards for students. LEAD Team-I will be out of the building from 8:30-3:30 on Wednesday. I have a LEAD team meeting in the morning and a Title/E-Team meeting in the afternoon. Community Time-The Lighthouse Team discussed Community Time last Monday. After much discussion, we concluded that it still is not meeting the needs of our students and staff. So, we are going to try for a PLAN C. :) :) :) Let us know what you think! Here are the details...

Grade Level Meetings-We will be meeting this THURSDAY to record 2nd quarter WIG data. Wednesday Picture Retakes-You will need to send any new student or those who want retakes at the scheduled time below. They will be set up in the learning space.

Grade Level Meetings-We will continue learning about Jan Richardson's 8 components of the day 1 lesson format during grade level meetings on Tuesday. 9:05-9:50----4th Grade (Dunn's room) 10:05-10::50---2nd Grade (Adams' room) 11:05-11:50---3rd Grade (Allen's room) 1:05-1:50---1st Grade (Bailey's room) 2:05-2:50---Kindergarten (Jackson's room) Out of the Building-I will be gone all day on Tuesday. My husband's Uncle passed away last week and we will be attending his funeral in Kansas. Jennifer Greenhaw will be filling in for me while I am out. LEAD Meeting-I have a LEAD Admin Meeting on Wednesday from 9:00-? at Central Office. Conscious Discipline-We will wrap up our last meeting on Thursday at 7:45 in the library for those of you participating in the online training. BREAKFAST will be served!!! NWEA-They have extended the window and it will now close on Monday, December 21st. This should help with any students who are in quarantine. COMING SOON:
