Fabulous February-This Friday is CHIPS, SALSA and LIMEADES for everyone. I will place them in the workroom around 11:00. :) Subs-The past few weeks have been REALLY crazy with a shortage of subs. Today, we were 10 short in the district. So, get some rest and take your vitamins!!! I hope that everyone participated in the challenge last week by showing your appreciation to someone else. I started thinking about how rewarding it was to show others just a small token of my appreciate. So, I thought to myself...why stop there???? This week, I challenge you to call, email or send a note to a parent. I am so guilty of only calling or emailing parents when it is something negative. As you can imagine, when they answer the phone and I inform them that it is the principal calling I usually get the long sigh and "OH, GREAT" comment. So, this week I need to get back to reaching out and showing my appreciate and celebration for student successes. I know that parents would also LOVE to hear from special class teachers. Who will you contact this week? Whose day will you make a little brighter? Monday Meeting-Stephanie will be meeting with classroom and sped teachers at 3:30 in the library. You will be reviewing math units and giving feedback. Science Collaboration-This week we have 3rd and 4th grade.
Fabulous February-Don't miss my mom's famous crescent rolls this Friday in the workroom! YUMMY!!! I have a challenge for EVERYONE this week...custodians, nurse, social worker, secretaries, teachers, kitchen staff, and paras! Grab a sticky note, a thank you card or a piece of paper and take a moment to leave a message for a co-worker. You can show them your appreciate for ALL that they do each and every day. You can leave it on their desk, put it in their mailbox or hand deliver it to them. We don't do this enough and we should! Educators are the hardest working individuals that I know...it's time we show one another!
