OK....don't shoot the messenger! I know that you are enjoying your last few weeks of summer. However, August is just around the corner and school will be starting soon. :) :) Below are a few updates and info for the next few weeks.
New Student Enrollment-We have new student enrollment on July 29th & 30th from 8:00-3:00. Class Lists-Stan has already assigned students to classes in SISK12. You should be able to access your students. Please remember that we may have some changes next week due to new student enrollment, drops, and other requests. We will mail letters to your students and parents next Friday, August 1st. Beginning of the Year Agenda-Here is a link to the agenda for August 11th-13th for all staff members. Classroom Budgets-Grade level teachers have $150 to spend in their classrooms again this year. You don't have to spend your money now! This can be spent throughout the year. You can begin submitting purchase orders or checking out the Wal-Mart card AUGUST 4th. Please remember that we cannot reimburse you for items that you purchase with your own money. Special Class teachers can check with Stan after August 4th to get their account totals. Computer Towers-The tech department is finished updating computers. You can pick these up in the computer lab at your convenience. Below you will find a picture of our school shirts for this school year. The black and white design will be on a heather gray shirt. This will be the shirt for staff and students. We will also be mailing out a SPIRIT SALE order form to families with our teacher letters on August 1st. I will also upload a copy for you. These order forms will be due on Friday, August 22nd. We will have a display for families during Meet the Teacher Night.
In addition to the short sleeve shirt that all students and staff members receive, I will also be purchasing staff members a gray/black three-quarter sleeve baseball shirt. These sizes run a size larger than normal shirts. I have samples of each size in my office if you would like to try them on prior to ordering. I will need ALL sizes submitted on this FORM no later than Wednesday, July 23rd at noon. If I don't hear from you, I will select your size.....SCARY!!! :) I hope you are having a FABULOUS summer! It is hard to believe that it is already July. August will be here shortly which means....I HAVE A LOT TO DO!!! Below are a few updates.
Welcome-We have a few new members of the WS family over the summer. Please welcome the following new staff members.
Kathy Davis-Yes, I did say someone was replacing Kathy. However, she is not going too far away. She will be stepping up to the plate as our Process Coordinator. CONGRATS! Building MAP-I did have to make a few changes in room locations this year. I believe that I have discussed this with most of the people who have to move. HERE IS A COPY! Let me know if you have questions. Master Schedule-Here is a link to the master schedule. (click on the 14-15 tab) I have added our fifth K class to the special class rotation. This year Michelle Christensen will NOT have to travel to WE on Wednesdays. I have also worked it out so Cindy Brown can come back on Friday afternoons to have art for our K class. I will need some help to figure out how to add our fifth K class to the counseling and motor lab schedule....send me your ideas! Building Hours-The building is waxed, painted and ready to go....ALMOST! I know some of you are ready to jump in and see your rooms. Please make sure you see the building hours below.
