Out of the Building-I will be out of the building on Tuesday from 11:00-3:00 and Wednesday after 2:00. Instructional Excellence-If you are planning on participating in Instructional Excellence anytime this school year, please complete the proposal form by FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th. Just a reminder that you will need to make a copy of the form and share it with me. It should be titled IE , last name and year. (ex. Crighton IE 2014-2015) Based on last years participants, we should have around 20 staff members. This means each participant is guaranteed 35 hours for the year for IE. Please make sure your proposals do NOT go over the 35 allotted hours. Guidelines for participants can be found in the district website. District Growth Hours-All certified staff members are required to complete six hours of PD this year. Your DGH form can be found on TalentEd. Last year you recorded your hours in a Google doc. One thing to remember in TalentEd is to SAVE PROGRESS when entering data and only hit SAVE AND SUBMIT when you have completed the entire six hours for pay. (see picture below) Professional Development Plans-These plans are loaded in TalentEd. You can begin working on your plans now. The due date is September 26th. You need to pick 2-3 goals for the year and one should include a wellness plan. These goals should be mirror your SUMMATIVE EVALUATION standards. I am currently working on my PDP and will share it with everyone for an example this week. |
