WOW! What an amazing Spring Break! We could not have asked for better weather. I hope you enjoyed the time off with your family and made some time for yourself. I think this is the first year that I just stayed around the house. It was great to have the time to play with the kids and enjoy the outdoors. We better hold on tight because this final quarter will fly by very FAST!
NAESP Conference-I will be out of town Wednesday-Sunday. I will be attending the National Association of Elementary School Principals conference in Seattle, WA...Best Practices for Better Schools. I am really excited to learn about what other building principals and schools are accomplishing across the nation. There are some amazing presenters including Eric Jensen, Doug Reeves, Richard & Rebecca DuFour and many more. I PROMISE I will not come back and push another new "something" on your plate. However, I am sure I will share some great stuff with you during grade level meetings. Amanda Hambey, my administrative intern, will be subbing for me on Thursday and Friday. IF you need a sub, please call my cell phone! PTO Spirit Sale-I am working on an order form for our upcoming PTO spirit wear sale for our spring fundraiser.
